Hi there, it’s George and Jordan here, partners in Solarbank. We bought into the business in 2024, after 10 years of stewardship under the Founder of Solarbank, Andrew Moderer. Andrew decided to sell the wonderful business and reputation that he built to spend more time with his family. We can think of no better way to honour Andrew’s legacy than by leaving his original message here on our website. His approach to work, ethos and culture lives on in Solarbank, and this is perfectly encapsulated in his message:
Hi, my name is Andrew Moderer and I am the founder of Solarbank.
While working for another solar power company, I witnessed first-hand how solar buyers were not being treated the way I would want to be treated. In 2014 I formed my own company, determined to do better.
Along with my growing team, I am passionate about delivering solar solutions based on quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. We make sure that getting a fantastic, great looking solar system is simple, and we only use a handpicked range of premium products.
Solarbank has built an unrivalled reputation for delivering high quality solar power and battery solutions. We are focused on servicing our local community on the Northern Beaches as well as in Greater Sydney.
Our business is built on ensuring satisfaction, with a large network of delighted customers, both residential and commercial. We’ve also had the pleasure of installing solar systems on RSLs, churches, surf clubs and schools to name just a few.
We are very proud to be one of a small handful of Clean Energy Council approved solar retailers in New South Wales. This approval requires us to comply with a strict code of conduct far beyond the mandatory installer accreditation which all solar companies require. We are also very proud to be a certified Tesla installer.
